              Why should I hire a public insurance adjuster?

              Under California law, you have the right to hire a public insurance adjuster to assist you in the preparation, presentation, and settlement of your claim.  Without a public adjuster, you will have the daunting task of preparing your claim and negotiating with insurance company adjusters–individuals who are specifically trained to adjust claims according to the insurance company’s standards and on their behalf. The typical homeowner does not have the training, knowledge, or experience, and may not have the necessary time to properly submit his or her claim. This is the main benefit in having an experienced public adjuster on your side. They will use their knowledge and expertise to handle every aspect of your claim and get you all the money you deserve.  

              What is a public insurance adjuster?

              When a homeowner suffers a property loss, the insurance company assigns a company adjuster to handle the claim. As the name suggests, company adjusters are employed by the insurance company.  Their job is to make sure the insurance company makes a profit. Every cent they pay to you reduces that profit. This means it is not in their interest to help you prepare and submit your claim. That difficult task will fall solely on you.

              What do I need to provide to start my claim?

              We will work with you to collect as many relevant documents as possible. This includes all receipts, estimates for repair, clean up and rebuilding, etc. We would like to see all documents concerning conversations with the insurance company. If a complete copy of your policy can not be found we will order a certified copy of your policy with all endorsements from your insurance company.
